Push It Real Good
Last night, Janeen and I made our way to and back from Athens, GA. We found a great deal on an ice cream cart. We'll use this awesome push cart to accompany our amazing Chevy.
Our licensing is underway. We got our Federal ID number today. We also jumped through a number of hoops in getting local licensing. Long story short, we'll be presented to the Planning and Development Commission on November 5 then officially licensed the next day! (Want to come? We could have a real party! Let us know, OK?)
The ice pop machine should be shipped Friday or Saturday. We hope for a 15-day arrival date thereafter. AGAIN, this piece of machinery is something YOU made happen! Thank you!
Some of you know, the windshield is made of two pieces of bent glass. One side is cracked, the other side is 55-years hazy. The lowest bid that came back for a single side was $1,800. We are now wondering if a cockpit approach—with a flat piece of glass and a smaller piece of bent glass—would be more cost effective. We don't even know if that's possible, regardless, we're moving forward to find out.
We would love for you to take an opportunity to connect with all our neighbors in a meaningful way thru this #icecreamcream. Your contribution goes directly to equipment purchases, licensing expense, and production the last leg of the truck renovation.
Thank you all so much!
